What does it take to be happy?
Maybe you already know the answer(s). I’ve found, though, that knowledge is not enough. To truly be happy, I had to embody happiness. Think happy thoughts, take actions that bring me joy and bask in positive emotions.
Everything we repeat often enough eventually becomes a habit. Every habit we practise long enough becomes automatic until we forget it was once a habit. Now that I have been practising happy habits for a long time, I am happy.
